About

Open 2014 is an intensive two-day conference for practitioners of technology entrepreneurship in higher education. Come to learn about the latest program models, network with colleagues, and share success stories from campuses across the nation. Conference sessions explore policy, programs, funding and insights into what universities are doing today—and where they are headed tomorrow—to engage constituents in using invention and entrepreneurship to benefit society.

“The energy level of all of the presenters and participants is amazing. People are passionate and willing to share and everyone quickly becomes part of the activity. So much good information and wonderful activities are crammed into the two-day conference and you come away with ideas that can be implemented at your own university now…not some day.” – Open 2013 conference attendee

“The organizers set up many opportunities for networking both randomly at large group events and in a more focused manner based on interests. I met so many amazing people and came home inspired and motivated to take on my own projects.” – Open 2013 conference attendee

“This was my first NCIIA conference. I felt welcomed by the community… It was a fantastic networking opportunity.” – Open 2013 conference attendee
