VentureWell came in at a critical time in Promethean Power Systems’ journey to support the development and refinement of our rapid milk chiller product, along with business development support, which has helped us reach over 100,000 smallholder farmers in India across 3,000+ villages.
What’s the biggest change or milestone your institution or venture has experienced since participating in VentureWell programming?
Initial market testing, selection of local manufacturers, building a robust supply chain, and developing an effective sales and marketing strategy. Since then, we have evolved our business model to reach more smallholder farmers directly through our cooling-as-a-service platform model.
Where do you see yourself 10 years from now?
We expect to scale up our cooling-as-service platform from impacting 100,000+ farmers across 3,000 villages in India to 1,000,000+ farmers across 30,000 villages in India and other emerging markets.
