Lada Rasochova has 25 years of research, management and business development experience, including 15 years of experience in drug development, biotech and cleantech. Her experience includes starting two new technology-driven commercial programs from the ground up, managing multimillion dollar collaborative R&D programs, and consulting for pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Prior to joining the Rady School of Management, Dr. Rasochova spent more than 10 years at The Dow Chemical Company where she held various scientific and managerial positions. Most recently, she was the director of new business development and manager of vaccine technologies at Dow’s biotech division Dowpharma. Dr. Rasochova joined the Rady School of Management in 2008. She started several new entrepreneurial initiatives and educational programs at Rady, including the Rady Venture Fund and Rady Innovation Fellows program. Dr. Rasochova teaches the Venture Capital Management and Technology Commercialization courses. Dr. Rasochova received her Ph.D. in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology from Iowa State University and MBA from the Rady School of Management at UC San Diego.
