Marc Sedam has an extensive background in intellectual asset management, startup formation, and teaching Lean Startup principals. He currently serves as the Managing Director of UNH Innovation and as the Executive Director of the New Hampshire Innovation Research Center, New Hampshire’s only translational research funding program. Prior to UNH Marc was the Chief Operating Officer of Qualyst, a UNC-Chapel Hill spinout which studies the impact of drug transporters on the safety and efficacy of drugs. Under his leadership Qualyst became recognized as the global leader in the study of drug transport and counted the majority of Top 30 pharma companies as clients. Marc was also the Associate Director for UNC-Chapel Hill’s technology transfer office where he helped UNC be second in the nation in start-up formation in 2001. Mr. Sedam began his career as a research chemist and is an active member of AUTM.
