Dennis Bone is the inaugural director of the Feliciano Center for Entrepreneurship at Montclair State University. The center facilitates real-life entrepreneurial experiences for any student on campus, and has created an ecosystem of more than 1,000 people (entrepreneurs, investors, etc.) ready to help the center. Bone is the former CEO of Verizon, one of New Jersey’s largest companies, and has relationships with leadership or board members at nearly all of the Fortune 500 companies based in New Jersey, plus head partners of New Jersey’’s top 25 law and accounting firms. Bone is also well-respected in Statehouse corridors, where he has served in a variety of advisory roles about ways to spark growth in the state’’s business sector and on issues related to workforce development. Bone has a long history of serving on the boards of nonprofits, including those focused on community development, science, the arts and education.
