Humera Fasihuddin co-leads the University Innovation Fellows (UIF), a key driver of student engagement strategy at the National Center for Engineering Pathways to Innovation (Epicenter). In it, she works with students to create lasting institutional impact within the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem on campus. She is also a Senior Program Officer at VentureWell where, for the last decade, she has led the creation of numerous programs, including the organization’s first foray in venture accelerator workshops, which today account for over half of the 501c(3)’s income. Prior to VentureWell, Humera worked in economic development creating innovation networks in the region surrounding University of Massachusetts Amherst under a National Science Foundation Partnership for Innovation (PFI) grant. Humera worked in the manufacturing industry for seven years at the publicly-traded UK firm Rexam, serving as product manager in their precision coated materials subsidiary. Her experience is sprinkled with many entrepreneurial pursuits, in the for-profit and non-profit sector. Humera holds an M.B.A. from UMass Amherst and a B.S. from Smith College.
