Ann Gansemer-Topf is an assistant professor in higher education in the School of Education at Iowa State University. She teaches graduate courses in program evaluation and assessment, college environments and student success. Her research interests focus on examining micro and macro factors that impact student success and she is interested in developing effective and sustainable assessment practices within higher education institutions. She has previous experience in institutional research and assessment and has served as an assessment consultant for several higher education academic and student affairs departments.
