Acoustic Shield

Acoustic Shield has developed a patent pending and prototyped acoustic gunshot detection sensor. With existing technology, notification time after a gunshot averages 3 to 15 minutes. With our sensors installed throughout a building and tuned to the unique sounds of gunshots, we can prevent false detections and provide instant notification. The current prototype is able to differentiate between loud noises, such as fireworks, and gunshots.
