Jonathan Leinonen at MI Small Business Development Center (Business Counselor) is the program and finance director for Michigan Tech Enterprise SmartZone, based in Houghton, MI. For nearly 10 years, he has directed numerous grant programs and services for technology-based entrepreneurial and small firms. He is currently working to develop cluster-based investments to support regional development of technologies from Michigan Technological University. He contributed to a 2013 co-learning plan covering regional assistance programs available to startup businesses. Jonathan is a certified economic development finance and global business development professional.
