Paulina Manuela Trejo Ramirez is a full-time professor at the Department of Engineering and Sciences from the University division of Engineering and Architecture of the ITESM, Campus León, México. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the ITESM, México (2011), and a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering with specialization in mechanics from the University of Lübeck and the School of Applied Sciences of Lübeck, Germany (2014). Her Master’s thesis “Improvement, completion and verification of an Artificial Muscle Biomechanical Rack (AMBR)” was developed at the Space physiology Department of the German Aerospace Center in Cologne, Germany. She gave a conference presentation on Design, development and validation of an Artificial Muscle Biomechanical Rig (AMBR) for Finite Element model validation at the V International Symposium on Experimental Mechanics in Guanajuato, México (2015). Her research interests and experience include technological entrepreneurship, technology transfer, space physiology, sports biomechanics, sports footwear design, mechatronic design, education innovation projects, biomedical social projects and innovative classroom-redesign.
