Michael Caston received his Master’s of Industrial Design in 2008 from North Carolina State University and his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2002. He is an Assistant Professor in Industrial Design at Metropolitan State University of Denver as well as a student in the Professional MBA program at University of Colorado Denver.Michael’s areas of interest in the field of product design include design research, marketing, small business and entrepreneurship. Michael has been operating a product and graphic design firm for over 7 years, managing product development projects for companies both large and small. Michael teaches courses in the areas of computer-aided design, design for marketability, design for manufacturing, entrepreneurship, and plastics material and manufacturing processes.
