Tiffany McNamara is the Special Projects and Events Coordinator at the Great Lakes Energy Institute. She leads the educational, outreach and community engagement aspects of GLEI’s mission to catalyze breakthroughs in energy sustainability that address the most pressing problems facing the world. These efforts span the pilot ThinkEnergy program to engage students in meaningful and real-world energy education and entrepreneurship, an energy speaker series that brings national and international thoughtleaders to the community, and workshops and advisory board events throughout the year. Tiffany has worked at Case Western Reserve for over 7 years, largely in support of energy and sustainability research in various capacities at the Great Lakes Energy Institute. She spearheaded marketing and external communications efforts including development of a new website and web content to highlight the breakthrough discoveries in energy happening at CWRU. She received her Bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Toledo.
