Tommy Das, a native of Houston, TX, graduated from Dartmouth College with a degree in Biology and a minor in English. Before starting medical school, Tommy worked as a cardiology research assistant in Dallas, where he began to foster an appreciation for clinical innovation. Tommy began to explore this interest through the Innovating Healthcare Solutions elective at UT Southwestern, focusing on a community-based platform for clinical research patient recruitment. As a current facilitator and Public Relations Officer of the Biomedical Innovation program at UT Southwestern, Tommy hopes to continue to grow his own innovation skill set, while inspiring others to think critically and creatively throughout their medical education and beyond.
