How To Register as a Presenter

All presenters, co-presenters, and panelists are required to register in advance.

Steps To Register

1. Use this registration link to sign in using your VentureWell Community account (or to create an account if you don’t already have one).
2. Ensure the registration type is “Speaker.” (If that doesn’t pop up, please enter the code “VIA25SPEAK” and select the registration type “Speaker”.)
3. Complete your registration.

Presenter Orientations

We encourage all presenters to join a virtual Presenter Orientation session to learn more about the summit, understand their session format, and participate in live Q&A. Registration details coming soon. Orientation recordings will be made available for those who are unable to attend live.

Session Formats

• STEM I&E Expert Panel (60 minutes): Collaborative, in-depth discussions on advanced topics, with audience Q&A.
• Partnerships in Action (60 minutes): Presenters share insights in an interactive format, using visuals or materials like handouts/QR codes.
• Interactive Workshops (60 minutes): Hands-on sessions designed to help attendees practice tools or frameworks.

While we encourage presenters to use their own institutional branding, you may also utilize VIA-branded templates for slides.

Your Session: What To Bring and How To Prepare

To ensure a smooth experience, presenters are responsible for bringing and managing their own presentation materials.

• Presentation slides: Bring your slide deck on a USB drive or ensure access via a cloud link (Google Drive, OneDrive, etc.). We strongly recommend having a backup in case of technical issues. You may not plug in your laptop to our AV equipment. Please send your final slides to pberry@venturewell.org so that we can share them with all attendees on our conference app.
• Handouts or QR codes: If your session includes additional materials, bring printed copies or ensure QR codes are available for attendees to scan.
• Ensure tech compatibility: All presentations will be displayed on standard 16:9 format projectors. If you are using videos, embed them in your slides rather than relying on WiFi.
• Arrive early: Plan to arrive at least 10 minutes before your session to connect with AV staff and ensure that everything runs smoothly.

By keeping control of your own materials, you can ensure the best possible presentation experience at VIA Summit 2025!

Tips for Presenters

• Tailor your session for higher education, industry, and government attendees in the innovation & entrepreneurship space.
• Be concise, interactive, and engaging—use storytelling, props, and visuals.
• Include actionable takeaways for participants to implement post-summit.
• Check your assigned session format for specific guidelines and prepare accordingly.
