Dr. Abdalla Nassar has a dual appointment as an instructor in the Penn State School of Engineering Design Technology and Professional Programs and a postdoctoral scholar with the Applied Research Laboratory at Penn State University. He has been involved with Penn State’s Humanitarian Engineering and Social Entrepreneurship program for three years and has co-authored works related to access to capital in the developing world and humanitarian engineering technologies. Abdalla is also active in the fields of laser-plasma-materials interactions, laser-gas alloying and additive manufacturing of metallic components.
