Catarina Maia is Technology Licensing Officer at INESC TEC, running very early entrepreneurship education initiatives for researcher training. She is also invited lecturer at Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto (FEUP) for economics, innovation and management courses, where she is a PhD student, focusing on the design of technology entrepreneurship educational initiatives. Since 2010, Catarina mentored numerous COHiTEC teams (a technology entrepreneurship course organized by COTEC Portugal in association with North Carolina State University), and was also executive and non-executive member at several start-up boards, as a representative of venture capital funds. She holds a BSc in Microbiology (ESB-UCP), a MBA in Management (PBS) and a MSc. in Management (PBS) with a focus on technology entrepreneurship.
