Cindy Gilbert is faculty, student advisor, and founding director for the Minneapolis College of Art and Design’s (MCAD) Master of Arts in Sustainable Design program. In this role, Cindy develops a culture of awareness and creativity through the evolution of this fully online program that fosters global innovation, collaborative problem solving, and creative leadership. She was the founding director of the University of Montana’s sustainability program and most recently served 3.5 years as the founding director of university education at the Biomimicry 3.8 Institute, where she developed and managed all higher education programs.
