Kenji Kato

Kenji Kato is an entrepreneur and technology evangelist, having founded two technology startups and worked at NASA Ames as a research engineer. Having been raised in a family of educators, he has stayed actively involved in education throughout his career. Kenji has taught courses at Stanford University’’s Professional Publishing Courses as the founding faculty member of the New Media Group, for CSUMB’’s Center for Interactive Media and Games (CIMGames), helped to design the Naval Postgraduate School’s CHDS Distance Learning Program, and taught the first distance learning class for the African School for Digital Media (ADMA) as a Virtual In Situ Instructor. Beyond his love for technology and education, Kenji has consulted to companies like Virgin America, Lexus and Consumer Reports looking to take advantage of viral marketing, online digital media, and podcasting. You can often find Kenji participating in technology hackathons in his free time.
