Larry Richards teaches two courses on innovative thinking at the University of Virginia: Invention and Design (with Mike Gorman) and Creativity and New Product Development. He is also working with middle school teachers and undergraduate mechanical engineering students to develop Engineering Teaching Kits. These ETKs introduce the engineering design approach to problem solving in middle school science and math classes.
