Len Holmes is an Associate Professor in the Chemistry and Physics Department at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. His major work is on the research and development of an agricultural biocontrol product, “Brave-Guard” beneficial nematodes, for commercial mass production. His laboratory, the Sartorius stedim Biotechnology Laboratory, specializes in fermentation technologies with applications in agricultural biotechnology. Presently, his team is mass producing, packaging and distributing Brave-Guard for regional field testing.
