Libby Mahaffy is the Assistant Director for Conflict Resolution @ MIT. She is a seasoned mediator, facilitator, and conflict resolution trainer. She brings her extensive conflict resolution skillset, including conflict coaching, negotiation, restorative justice, training, and mediating to the undergraduate and graduate student populations through their student groups, living groups, and departments. With a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in Spanish and social science, and a master’s degree from Tufts University in urban and environmental policy and planning, Libby brings a social and environmental justice perspective to her communications work; she has particular interest in inter-cultural competency in communication.
