Liz Nilsen is providing leadership to the Pathways to Innovation program for Epicenter, an effort to engage with a cohort of colleges and universities to fully embed innovation and entrepreneurship in undergraduate engineering education. She is also leading project management efforts for the Epicenter team. She earned her BA from Stanford and an MBA from Northeastern University.
Liz’s professional focus is on the development and growth of STEM and innovation ecosystems. Prior to joining NCIIA, she led STEM initiatives at the Penn State Center – Pittsburgh, was the southwest regional coordinator for the Pennsylvania STEM Network, and served as Director of Outreach and New Economy Program Development at the Institute of Advanced Learning & Research, a Virginia Tech initiative.
