Lynn Andersen Lindberg, MBA, is the Director of Business Innovation and Research at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. The former owner of a start-up computer company, she is also associate director of the Southern Illinois Research Park. In these roles, she works with faculty, students, and entrepreneurs on technology entrepreneurship, business start-up challenges, and innovation activities. Lynn also co-developed the Saluki CEO Corps, an interdisciplinary student organization that helps educate college students in entrepreneurship through training, interaction with entrepreneurs, and direct counseling experience with emerging small businesses. Prior to assuming these responsibilities, she served as director of SIUC?s Illinois Small Business Development Center, which provides business information, research, counseling, and training to entrepreneurs and business owners and serves more than 600 clients annually. Lynn was also a member of the Illinois Manufacturing Extension Center?s management team for twelve years, serving smaller manufacturers with a comprehensive program of assessments and technical assistance.
