Almesha Campbell is currently serving as the Intellectual Property Manager at Jackson State University (JSU), a position she has held for almost four years. Ms. Campbell facilitates the technology transfer process at JSU – from invention disclosure to licensing and commercialization. She also develops, coordinates and/or conducts training with faculty and students on technology transfer best practices. Ms. Campbell manages the university’s patent portfolio resulting in broad protection of its intellectual property. She currently serves as the secretary of the JSU Chapter of the National Academy of Inventors and spearheads JSU’s activities celebrating Innovation Month in Mississippi. Ms. Campbell holds membership in professional organizations such as the National Academy of Inventors (NAI), the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM), and the America Society of Public Administration (ASPA).
