Andre Marquis is currently the Executive Director of the Lester Center for Entrepreneurship at the Haas School of Business at the University of California Berkeley. At UC Berkeley, he and his team are building a scalable, global infrastructure to deliver leading-edge, hands-on training to hundreds of teams and thousands of entrepreneurs and corporate innovators and their faculty and mentors. Though world-class programs including the Bay Area NSF Innovation Corps, Intel Technology To Market Accelerator (training startups across 15 time zones online), $1.3m Makeit Wearable Challenge (driving corporate innovation on Intel’s computing platforms in 27 countries), LAUNCH Startup Competition, Global Social Venture Competition and other Bay Area and international programs, the Lester Center is redefining how to teach the process of evidence-based entrepreneurship and innovation while creating scalable enterprises and driving deep culture change simultaneously. Applications include technology commercialization, corporate entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship and venture-backed startups.
