Elizabeth Hoffecker Moreno is building a multidisciplinary research team at MIT to explore the role of local innovation and co-creation in addressing global development challenges. Elizabeth joined D-lab in 2012 as part of the teaching team for D-lab Development and then moved on to help the International Development Innovation Network build its monitoring and evaluation program, developing a framework for assessing impact and evaluation tools for key programs. Elizabeth received a master’s degree from the International Development Group in MIT’s Department of Urban Studies and Planning, and has worked, studied and traveled in Mexico, Chile, China, Zambia, and Colombia.
