Washington University in St. Louis

Joshua Siegel is in his fourth year in the Washington University in St. Louis Medical Scientist Training Program. Josh received a neuroscience degree from WU and is currently conducting doctoral research on applications of functional brain imaging in stroke and brain injury. He has received research awards from the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, the American Academy of Neurology, and the American Heart Association. Josh received entrepreneurial training from the Skandalaris Center for Entrepreneurship. In the inaugural year of IDEA Labs, Josh was on a team that developed a computer interface for patients with limited hand mobility. He has served on the IDEA Labs executive board for two years, and now serves as Managing Director.
