John Gershenon is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Michigan Tech, where he teaches a full year course on design of products, services, and organizations within social ventures.  He is also CEO of Baisikeli Ugunduzi, a manufacturer of bicycle components for people who depend on bicycles in sub-Saharan Africa, based in Kitale, Kenya.
