Matt Gibson is the Director of Undergraduate Programs at the University of Michigan Center for Entrepreneurship, where he develops and leads innovative, experiential undergraduate academic programs in entrepreneurship. Prior to joining CFE, Matt served as the Vice President of Research and Development at Iontera, a startup focused on developing drug delivery and cosmetic products. Matt is also a patent agent with deep experience in intellectual property. He was a technical advisor at Ropes & Gray, LLP, where he managed the strategic development and prosecution of intellectual property related to a wide range of medical device and telecommunication technologies for both startups and large corporations. While in graduate school, Matt launched an early stage company with a novel technology for transdermal delivery of macromolecular drugs. Matt received his PhD and MS from the University of Michigan and his BS from Brigham Young University.
