Max Green serves as a Licensing Specialist for the Office of Technology Commercialization at The University of Texas at Austin. In this role, he specializes in the physical sciences, where he is responsible for marketing technology to prospective partners, negotiating intellectual property licenses, and guiding investments in patent prosecution.
Prior to joining OTC, Mr. Green assumed the role of account manager in support of NASA’s Innovative Partnerships Program at Kennedy Space Center. In this capacity, he was responsible for the commercialization of technologies developed by the space program. Mr. Green also served as a business development consultant to UT’s Austin Technology Incubator (ATI) initiative to establish TechBA in Austin. Prior to his role at KSC, Mr. Green served at Applied Materials, Inc. as a project test engineer, where he focused his efforts on the implementation of Built-In-Test systems.
Mr. Green holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.S. in Science and Technology Commercialization, both from The University of Texas at Austin.
