Session 1:
Makerspaces: Identifying Learning Objectives and Measuring Impact

So you’ve designed your makerspace, but how do you know it works? How will you be able to prove to your administration and other funders that students are getting something useful out of the experience?

During this session we will begin by hearing from experts that are assessing learning outcomes and measuring the impact of their makerspaces. Using best practices, you and your team will then be guided through a process of developing your own learning outcomes, and designing a plan for measuring and demonstrating success.

Session 2:
Curriculum Redesign Bootcamp: Integrate Innovation and Entrepreneurship

You’ve decided you want to integrate innovation and entrepreneurship into your class, but how do you get started? Join Alex Bruton for a hands-on introduction to a number of award winning approaches and tools for teaching and learning innovation and entrepreneurship. You will experience the tools yourself, and will then work with Alex and your peers to integrate them into your chosen class, and decide how to measure the outcomes.
