The 2024 Biomedical Engineering Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship Alliance (BME-IDEA) Meeting, held October 22-23, 2024, at Johns Hopkins University, brought together educators, researchers, and industry leaders to explore new directions in biomedical engineering education.

Day 1: Welcome, Tours, and Networking Reception

Location: Johns Hopkins University, Clark Hall, Baltimore, MD
The meeting began with a warm welcome and exclusive tours of Johns Hopkins University (pre-registration required). Attendees capped the evening with a networking reception, connecting with peers and leaders in the biomedical engineering field.

Day 2: Full-Day Sessions and Workshops
Date: October 23, 2024
Location: Johns Hopkins University, Scott-Bates Commons
On Day 2, participants engaged in dynamic sessions and interactive workshops addressing the latest trends, challenges, and innovations in biomedical engineering education.

About the BME-IDEA Meeting

The BME-IDEA Meeting is a biennial event that fosters collaboration among educators, researchers, and industry leaders. Established in 2003, the meeting focuses on advancing biomedical engineering education through innovation, design, and entrepreneurship.
