OPEN Exchange: Assessing the Success of Entrepreneurial Support

The proliferation and growth of programs and organizations supporting emerging entrepreneurs has exploded in recent years. Most would agree that is a good thing, but exactly what is good entrepreneurial support? This exchange will explore the definition of good from the perspective of the program and the entrepreneur and examine what measures may be useful in measuring the impact a training or support program has had on the individual and on the trajectory of their entrepreneurial venture. This session will engage participants in thinking through key questions in developing an assessment strategy; how to select and measure its components, and creating and sustaining the infrastructure necessary to understand program performance and drive ongoing improvement.
