The Integration Strengthens Support for Entrepreneurs Through Broadened Access to Resources, Mentorship, and Networking Opportunities

Hadley, Massachusetts, March 10, 2025—VentureWell announced today that it is absorbing The Entrepreneur Forum, a long-standing nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting startup founders across all technology industries. This transition ensures the continuation of The Entrepreneur Forum’s mission while expanding resources, education, and mentorship for entrepreneurs through VentureWell’s extensive network and program offerings.

For nearly 50 years, The Entrepreneur Forum has empowered tech-driven startups through flagship programs such as Smart Start, Founder Fellowship, and Mentor Smart. Formerly known as the MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge, the organization has built a legacy of fostering entrepreneurial success by providing mentorship, education, and strategic connections to key industry stakeholders.

“The Entrepreneur Forum has been a pillar of support for early-stage founders, and we are eager to welcome the community into the world of VentureWell,” said Christina Tamer, vice president, Ventures, at VentureWell. “This transition strengthens our shared mission of equipping entrepreneurs with the resources, expertise, and connections they need to bring world-changing ideas to life.”

This integration builds on the aligned values of both organizations—expanding access to expert mentorship, strengthening connections within the startup ecosystem, and accelerating the impact of emerging ventures. By bringing The Entrepreneur Forum under its umbrella, VentureWell is broadening its reach and reinforcing its commitment to empowering innovators and entrepreneurs with the tools and resources needed to bring their solutions to market.

“We are grateful for VentureWell’s leadership in continuing The Entrepreneur Forum’s mission,” said Jennifer Jordan, outgoing executive board chair of The Entrepreneur Forum. “Their deep expertise in supporting science- and technology-driven startups makes them the ideal home to carry our work forward.”
