Green Launchpad Educators Workshop FAQs

When and where does the workshop take place?

Monday, October 24–Friday, October 28, 2022, 1–5 p.m. ET daily. We will be using Notion for this workshop, as well as Zoom.

How much does the workshop cost? What is included?

$2,000.

We know that making changes to your curriculum is not easy. There is never enough time to plan for or to make those changes, and the global pandemic has further exacerbated these time constraints while also introducing new challenges. While we cannot physically add more time to your day, our hope is that the way in which we have structured the program will help. You will experience a combination of self-paced, asynchronous, and synchronous learning; a clearly laid out schedule for completing activities; and the integration of approaches you can immediately implement in your classes.

You will receive a curriculum that can be directly translated into your classroom, including slide decks, video content, examples, collaborative activities, and other teaching resources. Our goal is that you leave the workshop feeling confident with integrating sustainable design concepts and tools into your course and program.

In addition, you will also grow your network of like-minded peers to help you along the way! We highly encourage resource sharing and borrowing content.

In addition to attending the daily workshop, what is the time commitment?

We do encourage and expect participants to complete prework (estimated 3–4 hours), as well as daily homework assignments (estimated 1 hour). You will get the most out of your experience by participating in and completing all of the activities.

Who would benefit most from this workshop?

The ideal participants are faculty, staff, or administrators who want to infuse sustainability into their course and program but need help getting started.
