join us for BME-IDEA 2020: online and international!

7 Session Series:  Kick-Off July 22  ~  Closing Session October 14

This year’s edition of the biennial convening of the BME-IDEA consortium will be more exciting than ever. Because we’re convening online, we’ll present a wider range of topics, and anticipate more of our colleagues will attend so that many more programs from across the US and the world will be represented. As with past meetings, we’ll be sharing best practices, discussing common challenges, and brainstorming new directions in BME innovation education — this time over the course of three months and through a series of twice-monthly online sessions combined with virtual networking and collaboration. See the full schedule of sessions here!

Join other faculty and staff from around the world who teach in programs focused on the design and innovation of health-related solutions at the undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate levels.

Every other week, beginning July 22 and continuing through October 14, we’ll convene for two hours of engaging presentations, interactive discussions, and brainstorming sessions. You’ll be able to connect with participants via a private Slack workspace during the meetings and between events. We’ll also post resources in the Slack workspace to share with the group.

Register now. Once registered, you’ll receive a link that will connect you to the full schedule of sessions and links in the BME-IDEA 2020 series. Full recordings will be available soon after each session for those not able to participate in real-time.  For each session, we’re also planning follow-on activities, to help drive the ideas you discuss into impact in health design programs around the world.

The registration fee for the seven-session series is $40; this fee is waived for VentureWell members. A limited number of scholarships are available; please complete this form to request a scholarship.
