E-Team Founding Stories: The student entrepreneur’s perspective of launching startups from university settings
What’s the formula for a successful startup launch on campus? And more importantly, how do they spin out after graduation? Listen to leaders of VentureWell E-Teams share stories of how they got started and what has really helped them on their journeys (so far). Find out what role their universities and faculty played, which resources were the most catalytic, and what they wish they’d learned about entrepreneurship at their universities.
Faculty, students, and administrators will leave this discussion with a sense of which campus-based resources and support for entrepreneurs and startups provide the biggest return on investment. All students and faculty are encouraged to attend, ask questions, and share what they see has worked for them in developing flourishing startups and the entrepreneurial ecosystems that support them.
The speakers are founders of startups that have participated in VentureWell’s E-Team Program and are now actively launching their companies to solve important global problems. The E-Team Program provides funding, immersive workshops, and specialized coaching to student STEM innovators to help them move their inventions into the marketplace.
